Presented by Edward Allen, Nordstrom East Coast Fashion Director.

Fashion insiders stay on the cutting edge by knowing what Spring 2008 will look like before the first snowflake of winter even falls. Fashion Group International, the professional organization with over 5000 members worldwide in the fashion, accessories beauty and home industries, hosts its’ biannual forum on the coming season-open to the public.

Edward Allen, the East Coast Fashion Coordinator for Nordstrom, discusses Spring 2008’s most important and emerging trends, and more importantly how to make them your own on the streets of Washington DC. Mr. Allen holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Arts/Fashion Design and Art History from The University of North Texas. He started his career as a designer for prominent eveningwear designer Victor Costa  before launching his own eponymous sportswear clothing line carried in Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Stanley Korshak, Jacobsens and 125 other specialty retail stores nationwide. He started his styling career as the National Presentation Producer for Neiman Marcus before Nordstrom enticed him to the East Coast and based him in Washington, DC to bring his fashion expertise to the 21 Nordstrom stores between Charlotte, North Carolina and Providence, Rhode Island.

The New York, Paris and Milan runways will be brought to life by the Fashion Group International’s industry coveted seasonal video illuminating the most important statements on the runways. The months of Spring fashion shows and madness are distilled into an understandable and informative video overview hosted by Fashion Group International’s Marylou Luther.
